May the Lord forgive - M S Subbulakshmi

Dear Music Lovers,
I hope you enjoy this English song from the Bharat Ratna M S Subbulakshmi, who was the first to receive it for music, not forgetting that she is the first musician from India to win the Ramon Magsaysay award which in some way is called the Asian Nobel Prize. People have heard her sing the devotional songs but this song is the first by an Indian at UN General Assembly on UN day in 1966 and the lyrics and the rendering by MS as she is popularly even goes with times today and shall go for times to come, hope you agree.......

Paadam Putha Kalam - Malayalam Flavour

Dear Music Lovers,
I had listened to this lovely song after a very longtime today and I wish to share the same with you, when I was working as a sales representative for a company, I was on a visit to Coimbatore in Tamilnadu, it happened to be a Sunday and I ventured to see this movie called "Chitram", made in Malayalam. I came out of the theater completely satisfied having watched a very good movie and it happened to be my first Malayalam movie that I had seen on screen. Everything about the movie was good. It was written and directed by Priyadarshan.

Music: Kannur Rajan Lyrics: Shibu Chakravarthy Singer: M.G. Sreekumar

Extra Bits: Chitram was remade in Telugu as "Alludugaru", which was a super hit, it was remade as "Rayaaru Bandaru Mavaana Manege"in Kannada which was a Super Duper Hit, it was made as "Pyar Hua Chori Chori" in HIndi and as Engirindo Vandhan in Tamil.
