Today happens to be the Birthday of Chembolu Sitaramasastri more popularly known as Sirivennela Sitaramasastri, one of the finest lyricists of our times in Telugu. His first debut writing was for  "Sirivennela" a movie written & directed by K. Viswanath and he has never looked back from that time and his name became Sirivennela Sitarama Sastri  after the debut movie.

I am just reminded of this song from the very movie which gave him fame and name - "Adi Bhikshuvu Vadiniedi Koredi", hope you too celebrate listening to this song along with me on his birthday......

This song is from the film "Pyaasa" which was rated as one of the Greatest 100 films of all-time by the TIME magazine in the year 2005. This film was rated at No.160 on the Sight & Sound by critics in the poll of all-time greatest films.
  
One of my all time favorites & I hope you enjoy this number "Hum Aap Ki Aankhon Mein" sung by Mohammed Rafi and Geeta Dutt way back in 1957, composed by S.D. Burman and lyrics by Sahir Ludhanvi.
