Happy Birthday Lord Ganesha

Dear Music Lovers,

Today, we Indians celebrated the birthday of Lord Ganesha as "Vinayaka Chathurti".  Lord Ganesha is worshipped as the god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune and traditionally is invoked at the beginning of any auspicious occasion or new venture. Hence, I wish to dedicate this song on Lord Ganesha "Vathapi Ganapathim Baje" to one and all in this universe. 

Its an Instrumental version by G. Bharathwaj on flute, which I happened to accidentally listen to while surfing and found it really mellifluous in rendering. 

Hope all of you like it and shall encourage such good talent.

May Lord Ganesha bestow better wisdom, prosperity and fortune upon everyone.

Note: This is a Traditional and Classical song written by Poet and composer "Muthuswami Dikshitar" of the Musical Trinity fame. The Musical Trinity consists of Diskhitar, Tyagaraya and Sama Sastri, and most of his compositions are in Sanskrit.
